I didn't say sports history, I said it was the biggest deal in 'the sports history'.

Floyd would have koed Aldo in one round too if he came in running with his chin up like that as well. As a so called boxing fan I shouldn't even have to explain this to u. It's embarassing seeing boxing fans get excited over sub par, uneducated punch throwing.

Yes, but it was him who brought in May-Pac talking about how he is breaking their record, yet he isn't the one truly benefiting from it.

I was under the impression Conor's viewpoint was that at the same age he was bigger than Floyd. Conor is 27 and this year headlined a card that did 825,000 buys and this one is probably doing around 1 million buys. Floyd's first PPV headline was at 28 years old and that did 340,000 buys. Either way Conor won't be able to make the same money as Floyd due to how the fight promotion in MMA is setup and most likely his career will last no where near as long. Floyd is still king for money.

          Aldo's were indeed uneducated punches.

McGregor though, he comes from a boxing background. He knows what he's doing.

He isn't really. The UFC and the opportunities it brings for mma fighters are in large part due to Dana White. The market was built, it didn't come into existence all by itself.

Yes but things are about to change as the fighters are now unionizing much to the disapproval of the UFC

              Expect earnings to jump substantially!

As for Conor as of now I believe Anderson Silva GSP make roughly about $10 mil per fight so expect McGregor to get near that now that he is champion

I meant Aldo. I like Connor. I think his fighting style is legit. But most UFC fighters have zero boxing skills especially the Brazilians. That's why guys like Connor and Spider Silva look so amazing.

Conor has the opportunity to do far more earnings than Floyd, case in point - Tiger Woods. There's far more money in sponsorship deals than the actual competition. Conor's fan-base has far more potential than Floyd's ended.

                    Absolutely.

When you can only dedicate 20% of your training to boxing, you're going to be behind the curve. I even found Silva pretty basic in terms of actual boxing.

Rousey was the most recent example. She got away with boxing against terrible opposition, but when she met an actual boxer she was lost.

U say some silly things. UFC does not and has never had that potential. Not for the fighters at least. Floyd is the highest paid athlete in the world. No UFC fighter had ever even come close to making the top 10. There's almost no chance Connor will. Especially with the nuances that come along with being a UFC fighter.
