Why not Can't-Nelo vs Jacobs and GGG vs Lee
They should actually fight on the same card and winners fight each other in September.

I'm a Nelo fan but this is ridiculous. When asked after the fight Nelo said he had no problem fighting GGG next. He didn't say I'll wait to see what my promoter said, he said it was fine. I don't blame Oscar for wanting to milk this MW champ a bit longer and give Nelo a freebie in May, but then Nelo should have been a man and said I'm not ready for GGG, I don't want the belt I just wanted Cotto.

Plus GGG was promised his mandatory next by the WBC. Nelo has never been one to avoid a challenge and he might surprise people and take the GGG fight anyway. But if he doesn't he should drop tante belt or be stripped of it.

i have no problem with this, i said that about 3 times already, lets just stop the hypocrisy, GGG is about the money too, just like every other fighter in pro boxing, ggg fans shouldnt have a problem admitting that... a step aside for the third time in a row should just confirm that...

Of course he also cares about the money, who said he doesn't? the hole "money" situation came when we GGG fans argued that GGG could win more money vs Canelo than vs Ward which is true.

Vs Canelo GGG can earn money and also dispute The ring, Lineal, and WBC titles. In the meantime he can unify with WBO champion Lee. He already unified with IBF champion. He is not that far from unifying.

There's no issue now, people just talking too much. Things will happen in 2016. Sooner or later.

They have to find a reason to justify their hate. Everybody knows that if he refuses a deal for a September fight and Canelo got stripped, they would be going on and on about "paper champ dont want actual fight blah blah". Even Big Dunn tries to claim ggg is paper champ in WBA because he was elevated to super champ. What he forgets is that ggg won the EXACT same belt jacobs has around his waist, and the wba only elevated ggg so they could sell the regular belt to someone else. Dunn even said in a thread something to the effect of "too bad ggg didnt win his belt in the ring like jacobs did" lol haha idiots

As long as the cards are in GGG's favor he will do what benefits him most, like everyone else.

I just don't see why any GGG fan has a problem when comments like this are posted. He is no different from the rest.

The articles in my post you're replying to states there was a verbal contract. If there was no verbal contract why are they even negotiating in the first place? If there was no verbal agreement GBP/Canelo wouldn't be negotiating with GGG to step aside once again. Don't try to change the facts.

Not surprised. I'd hate to say it but this is the classic "they fight and then what?" type of scenario. They are the only big names left at 160.

Thats not true. Canelo is negotiating because the WBC mandated that the cotto-canelo winner fight ggg next (or work out a deal).
