If Lee beats Saunders then Jacobs/Lee is next and hopefully Canelo/GGG gets made. Winners fight each other for middleweight supremacy. Now that Nelson is in charge over at HBO, maybe we get Jacobs vs Canelo/GGG on HBO.

Actually the winner of the eliminator between Eubanks/Sullivan is Jacobs mandatory. In all likelyhood that is Jacobs next opponent unless he vacates, and I don't see him vacating unless he gets the Lee fight. And like I said in my previous post, I just don't see why Andy would take that fight given what he has said in recent interviews.

Lou has no say in what Jacobs or any of the Haymon fighters do despite him being the flunky promoter for those fights. He is Haymon's lap dog nothing more.
Dont forget Lee is promoted by Dibella, so odds are Lee is going to fight whoever Lou's boss tells him to fight......

if the WBA calls for mandos, then Jacobs will have his own issues with having to fight Blanco

First off, if Jacobs fights for the WBO title, he has to give up the WBA title. We've already seen that scenario a few times with the WBO not allowing anything less than the WBA super champion unify with their title.

Second, I don't see Peter Nelson allowing Golovkin to be stripped of any of his titles. Listening to an hour long podcast interview with Nelson, he's very committed to Golovkin establishing a Hopkins/Hagler type legacy. It looks like Golovkin's last contractual fight with HBO is his next in February/March vs Johnson. After that I imagine they'll adjust so that if Golovkin loses a purse bid, Haymon can pay him to destroy Jacobs on one of his networks.

Idk. DiBella was the one who actually setup the HBO deal to show Lee/Saunders. It was Warren who stepped in and blocked, claiming he owned the tv rights. Warren also stated before that Lee/Golovkin were already in negotiations. I'm just wondering if the WBO would allow Golovkin to unify b/c he's holding the WBC interim title?

Fighters know that when they sign contracts with certain networks, or sign with certain promoters, that it is highly unlikely that they will fight certain fighters. I hate when fighters sign with promoter A, or network A, then call out fighters on other networks, or worse, call them cowards! They knew when they signed what was going happen, so stop tripping! IT IS WHAT IT IS!

In Jacobs' case, he's not signed to a network or a promoter.
