That this isnt an isolated incident. That this isnt because of what you all want to think it is. Other sports are much MUCH more popular.

And if we as boxing fans should stop hoping for PBC, HBO, Showtime to fail cause then it will all fall apart.
GGG fight made a profit for everyone involved though, no one with a brain expected big numbers.

You can't compare a ppv to a regular Showtime fight, thats ridiculous.

Without Floyd, Haymon hasn't done a profitable event all year.

Sounds like a terrible number unless there are some important extenuating circumstances. Showtime doesn't seem to be benefiting in any way from the PBC's greater exposure.

Does anyone have a list of all the PBC's tv ratings from this year?

Lmao, yes we do know that. Both Quillin and Jacobs made like 1.5 mill? Add in the rest of the fighter purses. Add in the fact Barclays closed down the entire uppper deck necuase the tickets didn't sell. Add in the cost for all access. Add in the fighter purses and marketing & spent to build these fighters up on network tv (millions).

And now look at the ratings.

That's an astronomical failure. Between the investor $ and Showtime $, millions lost.

Espn use to pay 50k and get similar ratings.

Wow absolutely horrible numbers. I thought this would at least get close to a million viewers. I wonder if this is the worst viewership to combined purse ratio of all time on showtime or hbo.

Haymon has f**ked showtime in the ass so hard and Espinoza is too dumb to realize it.

But even with that, and football, and Christmas parties, whatever...this is still a shocking number. Probably a lot of it is just some bad luck on that particular night.

                  That is one massive failure.

The people who bashed GGG for his 150k PPV which actually made profit and which sold out the MSG with over 20k people are pretty silent now. How comes?

If you compare GGG with these two stooges its not A side vs B side, its A side vs Sidepiece.

Before the fight, I made a comment that the promotion for the fight had been lacking. They had one episode of All Access, that I honestly didn't even know about until like 2 days before the fight. It only got 80,000 views. The arena was half empty.

That's a shame because it was a pretty significant fight. More people deserved to see Jacobs' performance.
