But Khan won the first round doe. LMAO but seriously Lamont is better than anybody Khan has beaten at WW. However Lamont hasn't done anything at WW either so the rankings are justified.

Anyone heard from Keith since that Collazo fight?
Still hiding away hoping for Shawn to stop mentioning his name.

          Lamont schooled Danny Garcia.

Damn, the hate Khan gets on here is unbelievable. No one asked why Maidana was ranked higher than Khan at WW, but have the audacity to question why Khan is ranked higher than Garcia.

But for your information, Maidana was rightly ranked higher than Khan at WW because he had beaten Adrien Broner. Khan is ranked higher than Garcia, because he has done more and beaten better opposition at 147.

Not that he's fought the best possible opponents, but he tried to make fights with two of the very best at the weight and they both ducked. This means that Khan's attempts to prove he was the best couldn't happen because the perceived "best" fighters avoided him, and prevented him from proving it in the ring.

If you're making these top level guys duck and ultimately retire you could legitimately be placed above them all to be fair to the kid. Is it time for Khan to be universally recognized as the King of 147 at least for the time being until his ascension to 154?
this was a joke right? has to be...

Crown Khan the best without fighting anyone creditable. Typical Khan way of doing things. Yet you wonder why he never got the Mayweather fight. Khan hasn't been hungry for 3 to 4 years.

Garcia has the better resume imo but hasn't done anything yet at WW. His next fight with Guerrero won't exactly be an opportunity to push him to top 5 but it will give us more data about how he can perform at WW.

Ring is owned by Oscar the promoter so their rankings lack credibility. Neither of them have fought a really good welterweight. Khan is better known and more popular and brings in more money. That shouldn't effect rankings but sometimes it does. Garcia KOed Khan over 3 years ago. That doesn't mean he stays ranked above Khan forever. Garcia and Khan should fight a rematch. It would be the best welterweight either of them have ever fought.
