I never considered Quillin as anything serious since the Rosado fight. He used Rosado as a litmus test and failed at it even though he won. To put it mildly, Rosado was giving him the business in that fight. The eye of Rosado helped him from getting more embarrassed, on that night anyway.
Then he went lower down the talent pool and fought Konecny, a guy who had no business even being in the ring with him.
Then a prospect of fighting another undefeated fighter for 1.4 million scared him away.
Then he decided to take on Lee. Lee had been showing a very shaky chin. He was looking past it and was getting beat up in his last fight till his right hook saved him. He was ripe for the taking.....NOT
Then Zerefa or whatever his name was. Another rebuild fight.
That was what the great Quillin was up to for the past few years. I knew Jacobs was going to beat him. Jacob's is not perfect, but he is a real fighter with talent.
