What is a fight like GGG vs. Jacobs worth financially?

First let me ask, is this fight PPV worthy?

Second, we hear certain fighters say they will fight GGG if the $ is right, so as a fan, in your opinion, whats a fair purse to fight GGG?

And third, in a fight with GGG vs Jacobs, who should get the higher purse? Essentially whos the A-side...

    Certainly not PPV.

I think GGG about $1.5 million, Jacobs around $800k to $1 million is about right.

He just made 1.5 this weekend, he's not gonna take shorter money for a bigger fight

        1. No,it might even be smaller that ggg-lemieux. At least lemieux had the Canadian following,Jacobs seems to only have Brooklyn.
        2. 2 million should be a fair price for Jacob to fight. If he made 1.5 mil fighting quillin,2 mil fighting ggg would be a 33.33% pay increase.
        3. Golovkin would be the A side. Jacobs has only one belt, and its only a regular wba belt. Golovkin has the wbc interm strap, along with the ibf, ibo, and wba super belt.

If he got that for Quillin (a non belt holder) Im sure he will want double for GGG, this is where fights get messed up because I can see why promoters dont want to throw up that kinda $ if they are not going to profit. Im sure the consensus in this thread will be its not ppv worthy but the purse request are for a ppv event type fight. I think NATAs answer was about right for a fight of this magnitude but you and I know neither would accept those #s no matter who the Aside is...

Not really PPV worthy but I would buy it.

A fair purse would be somewhere in the range of $2.5-$3.5mil for Jacobs. GGG needs the fight more than Jacobs so they'll have to pay more. Jacobs just beat the consensus #2 MW. A Jacobs win would give GGG that one win his resume desperately needs.

            GGG is clearly the A-side.

after the 1st round destruction of Quillin the fight is worth at least 1.75/2.3 mil each. Fight should be in NY though and dont expect $10 tix

The only way GGG ever fights on PPV again is if it's against Canelo. And I doubt that fights ever going to happen because I don't see GGG caving into Canelo's 155 lb demand.

ggg is not a ppv fighter, so unless he fights a real ppv fighter non of his fights are ppv worth...
