But 386k viewers is TERRIBLE. Showtime just paid them both 1.5 mil each for not even half the rating GGG does everytime he fights on HBO. For a fight that drew terrible attendance only 8k showed up. GGG more then doubled that by selling out MSG 20K fans in Jacobs hometown. Yet this idiot who can't draw live fans or tv viewers wants to be paid as much or close to GGG if they fight? Showtime basically bid against themselves for that fight. Nobody else would of paid that kind of money for the Jacobs/Quillin fight. 2 guys who don't have much of a fanbase.

Nah, it is 75/25 fight. Read the WBA manual! So if they pay 2 mil to Jacobs, Golovkin will get 6 mil. Heck GGG can make deal with HBO to let him fight on another network in exchange for 2 mil. He will still be left with 4 mil which is more than Lem fight...

You misunderstood. That clown is saying it should be 50/50 morally, cause none of them are PPV stars. Kinda like Ward shouldn't get more than 50/50 vs Brand and Murdock, and Quillin should split 50/50 with the stripper

No what im saying is they need eachother.

Ward doesnt need the others and Quillin didnt need the stripper but GGG/Jacobs need each other. GGG a little more and thats why 50/50 cause if all goes as planned then Jacobs will fight winner of upcoming MW fight and winner will get another belt.

When Rigos numbers were as bad as Jacobs most recent "megafight", he was booted from hbo and top rank, and couldn't get a network fight anymore.

Yeah that's always been a problem with Haymon fighters. Like LSC wanting three million for fighting Rigondeaux (logic: well I get a million bucks for fighting bums and Rigondeaux is much better than a bum therefore I deserve at least three million!).

Leo Santa Cruz has a LOT of fans! I'm sure if that Mares fight was on PPV it would come close to 97K PPV Buys.

I would buy Russell vs. Leo PPV event over GGG vs. Andy Lee or Saunders.

That's why I can't understand how under paid he is??? He only got $2mill for his last fight??? Man I thought Bob Arum robbed his fighters???? Bob Arum is shoplifting compared to GGG's ppl on their armed robbery.
