I only look at resume in rebuttals to idiotic posts babbling on and on about GGGs resume, or lack thereof.

Resumes might be useful in analyzing common opponents, styles, as a measuring stick when predicting outcomes, and perhaps 10 or 15 years from now when someone is analyzing a HOF ballot but thats about it. Quillin probably had a better "resume" than Jacobs, but he still got put on ***** street. Douglas didnt have near the resume of Tyson, but thats didnt matter much when Mike was put on the floor. I didnt see Mike sit up and say "but but but I got the better resume doe"

Resume is great for Boxrec ratings, but has little to do with what happens in the ring.

Wow! You guys are really defending GGG resume! I personally think that GGG is the real deal, but I also believe that his resume is crap. He hasn't fought anybody so I really don't know how good he really is. But it amazes me because I know yall are the same PAC fans than try to rip Floyd resume apart and call him a cherry picker! How ironic resume doesn't matter for lil G but for Floyd he's a chicken when he only fought champions and moved up in weight several times

True, but Floyd was always the smaller fighter! Why would he have to move down, when everybody outweighed him by 15 to 25lbs

I know the difference. Fan boy can't be objective. But some of the most restarted posters on this website put tags on everyone who likes Golovkin a Golovkin Fan boy.

I am a fan of Golovkin but he can do wrong in my eyes. His offer to Ward at 164 was BS, i can admit that just like i can admit that Wards fight offer at 168 was BS (or at least i feel that way). If the fight did happen at 168 i would slightly favor Ward, but i wouldn't favor anyone else vs. GGG at 160 or under. some of the 168 fights will be close but still favor GGG. that's my opinion but some dip****s will call me a fan boy, just how it is.
