I never try and look at these things from the perspective of "deserves", because "deserves" is subjective. I would assume that since Jacobs just got $1.5 mill for Quillin, that he's not looking to take a pay cut. If it went to purse bid though papa Al would have to bid in the neighborhood of $6 mil considering the WBA super-regular split.

So for me the question is not does Jacobs "deserve" it, the question becomes "Is there a way to pay for it?"

Blacker, Haymon alliance, take your pick. Quillins boxing skills are so abysmal, I'd wager Murray to finish what N'dam couldn't do, outbox Quillin to a wide UD.

If you do not agree, fine. GGG has been avoided, no doubt, but his choices once he is avoided have resulted in a resume that is not significant at all.
Because his only choice so far to legitimize his resume to some in this forum is to fight a guy considered top P4P at a 10+lb weight disadvantage. He's dominating contenders in his own division. What champs at MW has he chosen not to face? He is simply fighting the best guys willing to face him, and those opponents are getting paid accordingly. They are not going to hand out big purses to MWs or JMWs who don't bing a belt or a big fanbase to the table. Doesn't matter how many on this forum think they'll improve his resume. They don't care about the resume. They care about unification and $$$. Look at Lara who many think would be the best guy on GGG's resume. Lara has no MW title and no fan base. Why on earth would GGG fight him when there are PPV/championship fights out there to be made? If Lara was serious, he'd have already tried to fight Jacobs to become GGG's WBA mandatory at MW. K2 has been blatantly open about this and it's so simple to understand.

Not exactly the case. Most think the MW lineal champ will avoid him too so he should've entertained fighting Ward as he did Chavez and Froch.

Well we know they care about $$, but some GGG diehards act like he takes challenging fights over money, which elicits a strong response from posters.

Because those fights are not likely to get made dude. GGG isn't getting the fights he wants.

Sure. That was my intent - based on a fighter's worth. Definitely a better way to look at it.

Yep that might be the only reason, since he has yet to explain how Quillin is better than a fighter who beat the same competition Quillin fought but better. Rubio is a bum but Dirrell went 12, GGG took out in 2. Murray 168 arguably won against Abraham and thats his first fight at168 no tune ups.

quillin was undefeated, ranked higher than almost every GGG opponent, and beat a better ndjam than lemuiex did. One could argue Quillin took a lot out of Ndjam.

quillin beat an undefeated njam almost 3 years before Lemuix beat him. Quillin had 6 KD's, yet Lemuiex beat him better?

Both lemuiex and Quillin beat Rosado by TKO in the 10th or 11th round, Quillin beat him over a year earlier.

You are pretending I said quillin was good or quality when I didn't.

Saying quillin is better than the guys GGG beat is not the same thing as saying he is a top quality fighter FFS.

Ranked higher where? the ring or other boxing website rankings? because geale was ranked#2 at time GGG fought him. To arguably lose to Rosado is telling. **** even Charlo beat him bad.
