You're bout the most reasonable cat in this thread, what do you think would be a reasonable purse range for Jacobs to make vs GGG?

I just said $2M-$3M without remembering he made $1.5M vs Quillin so I think I need to bump up my numbers a bit.

I think your numbers were good. Anywhere from about 2.2-3M seems reasonable. Especially considering neither him or GGG is that big of a star. I could see him making maybe 2.5 with GGG bringing home 3M. But HBO is cheap, so I don't see this fight happening

2-3 mil a piece to bring Golovkin to PBC? Al would certainly be down for it, itd be one of the hugest rated PBC cards and it would be on national TV. the only perople i assume wouldnt be ok with it is HBO and theres the wrinkle in all of this. Haymon would put up the money to make sure both fighters are payed good. But he will only put that money up fort a PBC card. HBO would not put that money up.

Yup the difference is that Haymon is blowing hundreds of milllion $ from his investment group to keep his fighters happy, overpaying everyone so fighters from other stables might also join him. Supply and demand. There's a huge demand for GGG to fight better competition. There's a short supply. Jacobs is arguably the 2nd best MW (3rd if you count Canelo). Or he can fight Johnson, Heiland, Eubanks Jr, until Canelo is ready
