HBO usually spend a little more freely in the first half of the year so hopefully they can cough up what it takes to make this card. or else let golovkin have a one-off on showtime or whatever. quillin was pretty much jacobs's best possible opponent on PBC and he "only" got $1.5m for it, so they're not going to pay him that amount again for the likes of eubank jr and blanco. golovkin is now his most lucrative option (unless canelo comes calling, which i doubt)

Therefore, I don't get how HBO can be regarded as 'cheap' if they don't give Jacobs a $2.5-3M guarantee against Golovkin.

I have plenty of good things to say about GGG's skills and talent. I have nothing good to say about his resume because it doesn't warrant it.

The issue isn't who I think he can beat. The issue was that PK34 posted something and I just reminded him of the facts.
