Wait. What? So just a couple days he said he would move down in weight to fight GGG?

He’s targeting next summer for his major fight. “This is why I’m so easy to work with because I’m willing to fight anyone. If they say [Gennady] Golovkin, why not?” he said. “I’d rather he came up to super-middle, I don’t think he’s big, he’s five foot eight. He hits extremely hard, he cuts off the ring very well. But I’m telling you, he got beaten before in the amateurs. He got Olympic silver… Trust me, he’s beatable.”

He would be willing to shed a few pounds to make that fight at a catchweight. He reckons he could make 164lbs. “As an amateur I made 75 kilos on the morning of the [bout],” James noted.
Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

GGG probably has to move down in weight a couple pounds to fight the primadonna Canelo, so he surely isnt moving up in weight any time soon.

Degale was never serious about 164. Unification with Jack makes a lot more sense. Plus he's had some issues making 168, he'd be a zombie at 164. Golovkin will come up in a few years once they both take care of their business.

What? He was never serious? Then why did he say that in an interview a couple days ago?

In a few years he will be 40, damn what will you do when father time takes Lil G away from boxing?

He can't keep hiding at 160 forever in his advanced age.

DeGale lost his last fight what makes him think he deserves it over Jacobs or Canelo?

Nobody will ever take you seriously if you spew garbage like this.
