From what I gathered from Thurman's interview is that he was told the fight was happening, he was getting big money and not to say anything about the delays.

I also gathered the Porters weren't told jack shit.

Thurman never struck me as a ducker, he wanted the Porter fight over a year and a half ago and Kenny Porter was like hold up, "down the line" because they had the world title at that point.

Glad it's being made, rumours of other good PBC fights being made too, maybe Al's finally starting to step up the quality of the match-ups.

I waa legit concerned. Thurman went dead silent and the fight date kept getting pushed back. Imy glad I'm wrong because I've been wanting this fight for 2 years now.
