Nah, Szpilka fought scared against Jennings. He'd poop his pants against Wilder. His punching power is extremely overrated and he's open and chinny to boot. I expect a fairly early KO here.

I was thinking Spilzka... but don't understand why they would offer a fight to Adamek, who's way at the bottom. Unless they're going from the bottom and working their way up.... I have a sickening feeling in my stomach they might offer it to Fujimoto.

Don't know of Takam made it out of his fight w/o a scratch or if he'd take it on a short-ish turnaround.

Unfortunate that they didn't have a back up plan so close to the date, but they should really get Spilzka since his fight was cancelled, he's on the list, fought on TV a few times and is levels above Fujimoto who's somehow on the list.

Also they'll probably announce it today since they're talking about Wilder on Showtime now

Fujimoto was offered the fight before Duhaupas so it is not out of the question that he will be the opponent. If it is that would be an embarrassing fight. Takam would be interesting because of his aggressive style & solid chin. He could be too much a risk. That mando with povetkin will happen by the summer & it is too big a payday to risk vs a live body like Takam.

Szpilka is a decent opponent 6 weeks out. Szpika's been training too because he was initially going to fight Mansour on the Dec. 12th NBC card.

So i was thinking Wilder really got screwed by the witch duva and i was looking for potential opponents and they just are not there. im sure he will be bashed by the anti haymon clan no matter who he picks but the reality is he dont have any choices everyone who makes sense is already scheduled to fight. The only name i could come up with was someone like pulev.

Has anyone else heard anything? I mean hes obviously trying to make a real legit fight its just not working out for him
