I was thinking Spilzka... but don't understand why they would offer a fight to Adamek, who's way at the bottom. Unless they're going from the bottom and working their way up.... I have a sickening feeling in my stomach they might offer it to Fujimoto. You can probably figure it out. Probably Stiverne or Szpilka
WBC:
1. Alexander Povetkin (Russia) SILVER no
2 .- Anthony Joshua (GB) INTL/COMM no
3 .- Vyacheslav Glazkov (Ukraine) no
4 .- Bermane Stiverne (Haiti/Canada) possible
5 .- Kubrat Pulev (Bulgaria) booked
6 .- Lucas Browne (Australia) possible
7 .- Carlos Takam (Cameroon) possible
8 .- Artur Szpilka (Poland) possible
9 .- Erkan Teper (Germany) EBU no
10 .- Mariusz Wach (Poland) no
No to the rest
11 .- Joseph Parker (New Zealand) OPBF / EPBC
12 .- Andy Ruiz (Mexico) NABF
13 .- Chris Arreola (US)
14 .- Tomasz Adamek (Poland)
15 .- Kyotaro Fujimoto (Japan)
16 .- Malik Scott (US)
17 .- Steve Cunningham (US)
18 .- Dillian Whyte (Jamaica/GB) INTL Silver
19 .- Dereck Chisora (GB)
20 .- Billy Wright (US)
Don't know of Takam made it out of his fight w/o a scratch or if he'd take it on a short-ish turnaround.
Unfortunate that they didn't have a back up plan so close to the date, but they should really get Spilzka since his fight was cancelled, he's on the list, fought on TV a few times and is levels above Fujimoto who's somehow on the list.
Also they'll probably announce it today since they're talking about Wilder on Showtime nowLast edited by Hougigo; 12-05-2015, 10:09 AM.Comment
