GGG's team seems happy to get their fighter paid well and his opponent get paid peanuts.....boxing is called prizefighting for a reason.

Is Canelo "elite"? Canelo only weighs 2 lbs more than Golovkin in the ring. They both have middleweight titles. They're both PPV. They know each other personally. What's the hold up? Unified championship @ 160 in Vegas or Los Angeles, where both have large fan bases.

GGG has been trying to get a fight with all the middleweight belt holder for years with not much success. Don't get it twisted, GGG hater. GGG is not avoiding the best middleweights in the world. Jacobs got KTFO by Pirog, Quillin fought to a draw with Lee who lost to Chavez Jr, and in Saunders' own words, Golovkin could beat two of him at the same time.

Lemieux was on a brutal KO tear when Golovkin fought him. He was closer to veering into "elite" status than these guys are right now.

Not even saying that's a bad list of fighters. I just don't see how they would be much different from who he just fought?
