For whatever reason. Preparations aren't going perfect. Brook simply had second thoughts about facing Chaves.

First it was an injury. Now he's flat out not even fighting Chaves claiming a fight the IBF sanctioned is now not being allowed by the IBF. That is BS. That's not how it works. Even Hearns language is sheepish implying he knows he is bsing a little.
The IBF are strict with enforcing their mandatories though. Look at what is happening with Fury/Glazkov

    Still, Chaves got screwed.

Kell brook an absolute joke. I was very happy for him, when he beat porter and thought this is finally it. Onward and upwards from here.

But he has really took 3 steps back. Absolute waster. And so is the IBF.

Fight someone of note for **** sake. Compare the opponents of khan and kell. LOL. Hope khan dominates him next year. Because khan deserves that belt more.

Brook and his manager are putting all their eggs in one Khan lottery basket. If Brook loses, the Khan lottery is all gone, gone, gone. These clowns behave as if it's the only money fight they can ever have in their lifetime. They'll probably retire and don't even care if they lose after the fight. They even saw Chaves as a threat to their precious eggs at the last minute.

This is what happens when you're boring and lack the capacity to make yourself popular. You just leech on others' popularity, effort and hard work even though the guy you're leeching on already has devastating loses, instead of doing it by yourself.

Maybe youre right. But it just doesn't make sense the IBF would okay the fight the first time and only after an injury delay say Brook has to fight Bizer first. The belts might be shady but there is no reason for the IBF to do that.

Seems more likely team Brook is just using the IBF as a scapegoat. Given the importance of the Khan fight around the corner there is a reason for Brook to be pulling this stunt. There is no reason for the IBF to pull the stunt though.

Uhh yeah and Algieri slaps all 3 of his defenses silly. Belts are only as meaningful as the guys you beat/defend against.

Brook-Chaves was signed as a voluntary though which would have been allowed in a certain time period.

But now Bizier has won the eliminator, the IBF have to enforce that.

The only way would be to pay Bizier step aside money so they can fight Chaves. But then they'd have to fight Bizier straight after which scuppers the Khan Wembley fight.

It's a bit of a ***ed up situation and it doesn't reflect well on Brook.

You defend Brook to the end. It is obvious what are they doing. He should had been in the mix way before that Porter fight but they idled and now Floyd is gone and Pac is in his last legs.

He gets a title against a good opponent and now he is again taking these second tier fighters one after another. Stop making excuses for the man. They are going to milk the popularity out of this guy because the Brits are paying good money to see him so he really don't have to step up his game until he gets a real big money fight

If its Bizier, Brook go stab yourself in the other leg, this is getting beyond a joke.
That's highly unlikely, as Khan is being touted for the summer, so we'll see two warm up fights, one for each participant. Or Khan will just stay inactive till it's time to fight Brook.

At one point in time, I thought Brook might actually amount to something. Instead, he turned out to be a scared diva like so many others.

Look, the fans can understand that boxers want to make as much money with as little risk but this is freaking COMPETITIVE SPORT. You are supposed to seek out the best competition possible to prove your worth. If the idea of getting punched isn't what you signed up for then PICK ANOTHER SPORT. It's as simple as that.

Go play shuffle board or some schit, quit wasting the time of boxing fans.
