Brook ducked Chaves just like he ducked Alexander, Rios, Thurman, Bradley etc.. It was bound to happen, the guy is genuinely a compulsive repeat-ducker.

It'll be surprising if Brook ever steps up and fights someone of even Porter's calibre who is basically a lower level fighter than a prime Julio Diaz but it's the best opponent on Brook's entire record of 35 fights due to Brook repeatedly ducking boxer after boxer with menstrual cycle regularity.

I've never heard of a boxer doing this to an opponent.

This is really pathetic not just because it looks like Brooks is only interested in soft touches but it has ruined the plans of Chaves in a way that is really disgraceful of Brook.

People make fun of fighters like Garcia for fighting cans, but Brook would bring shame to even those fighters. It doesn't get any worse than what Brook is doing.
