Any way you slice it or interpret it, the cold hard truth remains: in ALL of the aforementioned scenarios, Canelo did at least 6x the amount of buys that Golovkin did. That's a fact.

Yep, caliber of opponents is a huge difference between the two.

Golovkin is still fighting the Lemieux's of the world at age 33 despite being an amateur standout.

Canelo is fighting the Cotto's of the world at age 25 despite having very little amateur experience and learning on the job.

Says a lot about the two guys, really.

I like both fighters, I don't understand just because you cheer for one people have to turn it into your hating on the other.

This is boxing I have multiple fighters I like, I even really like Cotto. I've never understood that mentality.

I agree with you! I think what happens is you get die hard fans and they take it to the next level to the point you wanna see the guy their rooting for lose so they will be quiet. But in all honesty you can like different styles for different reasons. But I do agree with you
