It was the best match up on paper for any fight that could had been done. It is good to see that ppl are interested in meaningful matchups and they will pay for it

Don't believe the lies! Even Kevin Iole agrees with Rick Glaser.
Per Mark Taffet at @hboboxing Canelo-Cotto fight did 900k on PPV. I had heard from numerous folks 625-650, but he's putting his name on it

This new HBO head is a shameful liar. Iole may not say that directly because he has to be careful not to be blacklisted, but it's brave of him to show his disagreement in public.
and Fat Dan is simply a parrot for promoters and HBO.
Rick Glaser is reporting GGG vs Lemeiux did 97K buys. And Cotto vs Canelo did 650K buys. Staying strong that @danrafaelespn is wrong.

@danrafaelespn When you have ONE and only one source on that topic and you do nothing but parrot that source, don't crap on others my man

It's still a failure. Better than GGG obviously but this fight should have easily done over 1 mil. 2 of the biggest names in boxing(besides PAC and Floyd) fight and can't crack 1 mil buys???wtf
Let's see what Pac does on his farewell fight but onless it's Khan I doubt he breaks the 500k mark.
PPV is never gonna be what it used to be, with all the streams and technology nowadays not that much people buy PPV anymore.

Mark Taffet reveals #CaneloCotto PPV numbers (Taffet says 900,000; Espinoza says 725,000) https://t.co/oPkTlSkmxK #boxing .@Canelo
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) December 3, 2015
@tooezzzy Prior to today, Iole, myself, and others all heard from independent sources between 600-700K. I think that's more likely.

You have to be skeptical of Espinoza for obvious reasons, and Floyd Hype god knows, but Glaser does not stand alone if you don't believe him. I personally only need Glaser's word alone.Last edited by DoktorSleepless; 12-03-2015, 06:43 PM.

Why are there so many Golovtards in this thread?
This thread is about the Canelo-Cotto ppv not about Little G.
