Fury fought like a timid cat, scratching and pawing, only Wlad was much worse.

The power punching was even more telling from both, if Wlad was gunshy what was Fury ? When I say telling their really is not much to tell ! A story in itself.
I think the only ones who deserve credit in this fight are the ones who are able to go back and be able to watch the rematch, it was an exceptionally dull awkward affair and the likes of Parker, Joshua and Wilder must be licking their lips thinking those titles are there for the taking.
Fury outboxed the most dominant fighter in the division and it wasn't even debatable. No flukes, no lucky punches, just round after round of Gypsy-brand schooling.

The way Ortiz has peaked and powered past the low level of opposition such as Jennings really shows where Klitschko is at right now.
The one element I do however find interesting regarding this fight is Wlad has his power still and that for me is enough to keep him in the fight all the way through against a guy who has more than questionable durability, when the pressure is on Fury has shown he has to resort to underhand tactics, something Wlad was never really able to exploit as he threw less than he did versus Jennings.
I can't see Fury doing anything different as he knows if he allows one opening and Wlad having the boxing brain he does the fight will likely be ended by a solitary punch, the same punch Fury unfortunately does not posess.

I remember when i originally stated in the build up thread that if Fury executed his skills, that Wladimir would struggle to win a single round.
Boxing GOAT laughed at me and put the post in his sig. After the fight, the sig disappeared and i'm suddenly i'm on his ignore list!

I would say their is a case for a fifthe round, yet if youre a Fury fan or anti Klitschko they were even rounds, I guess if you're British you'd see them as Fury rounds.
I think the 116-112 was a fair reflection, that said. Wlad was awful, worse than he was versus Jennings which I think there was a 115-113 card for Wlad if I recall correctly a sign he is decline against an opponent as pitiful as Jennings. Jennings fought the exact same gameplan as Povetkin 18 months earlier Wlad was extremely dominant this clearly showcases he is in decline and as Laced Up pointed out he wasn't impressive versus Pulev and had slowed a step in that fight too.

Who was it threw a blatant, potentially fight-ending headbutt when things weren't going his way? Wlad's "fight ending power" won't be a factor here because he won't be able to land anything of consequence. Fury will tee off on him like a bobblehead doll because he's that much better, and Wlad's panic reflex will kick in leading to him flopping to the canvas once again. This fight won't be close, just like the first one. Only this time Fury will unleash his full arsenal to the impotent old man and batter him into well-deserved retirement. Ta ta Wlad. Been tedious knowing you.
The sooner Fury loses the better, boxing is a laughing stock whilst he holds the lineage. I don't see it being a lengthily period him holding the belt with Luis Ortiz kicking around, the same Luis Ortiz I believed would be the biggest threat to Wlad before he lost his belts.
