They should have at the very least granted Fury an extension on his obligation until that was out of the way.

At the end of the day it's their loss, not his. Fury is the new man in the division and if they don't want to be a part of his success then so be it.
The thing was that they had 30 days to negotiate (step aside fee) but duva refused and requested a immediate purse bid which she's entitled to. The ibf probably would have granted an exception before that

if fury has to vacate he might as well. even if he loses his next fight or a rematch to wlad he's already cemented his legacy imo
If fury beats wlad again then hes done something. Then thats gonna be in concrete cause you know everybody can have a bad day like they say.
This is no excuse for wlad just common sense.

so let me get this straight. The IBF rules CLEARLY state that they do not recognize rematch clauses. Fury, knowing this, decides anyway to take a little extra money and agree to a rematch clause, even though as WBA/WBO mando he didnt have agree.

But its the IBF who are in the wrong, and should just ignore their rules because?

          uhmmmmm, okay......

I wish Fury would throw all the belts in the trash. Fury is the champion, its not even debatable. The title belt groups are corrupt. Throw them all in the garbage. I've been craving someone who's "the champ" to do that for years.

Exactly. They'll come begging to him once they realise that they're utterly impotent without anyone to represent them. Then Fury can tell them all to go **** themselves and keep raking in the money.

Did Fury accept the rematch clause because he wanted extra money or because he wasn't in the driving seat and had to accept whatever Wlad handed out to him?

If the IBF don't accept rematch clauses then that's their own problem. Good luck with them making any money off that bum Glazkov. And by good luck I of course mean I don't give a shit.
