But isnt Duva also talking to Haymon about putting Glazkov in with Wilder?
Obviously she would have dumped the Wilder fight for the Fury fight, but now with Fury off the table wouldnt the Wlder fight be her best option?
Her best option would be to fight for vacant title against Martin then either cash glazkov out in unification fight he wasn't going beat wilder and prob would of dropped in ibf rankings since he would of fought for another organization title

I think people need to let go of the fact that the sanctioning bodies hold any relevance nowadays. It's the man who makes the belts, not the other way round. Fury could drop every belt tomorrow and it wouldn't matter a jot to his standing among the public at large. If I was Fury I'd tell the IBF to go **** themselves. They're clearly not willing to grant him any leeway in this so why should Fury continue to pay their fees? What value do they bring him?

Let Glazkov and whatever anonymous idiot fight over that worthless trinket. See what it brings them.

I know, the NERVE of them to actually enforce their rules. They should be like the other sanctioning bodies who throw out the rule book every time they smell a nickel......

Thats bad. wladimir was holding these belts together to eventually unify ..
There were lots of mandatorys that he didnt want to fight like thompson rematch but he did it all to unify.

So would Wilder get a crack at it or are PBC fighters only allowed to have the WBC belt?

Wladimir had the power to enforce rematch clauses on his opponents in the case one of them beat him. Fury, as newly incumbent champion, does not possess that level of control as yet. The IBF are being unreasonable here, knowing full well that Wlad had an immediate rematch clause in place. They should have at the very least granted Fury an extension on his obligation until that was out of the way.

At the end of the day it's their loss, not his. Fury is the new man in the division and if they don't want to be a part of his success then so be it.
