If Fury wants to keep the IBF title, he can apply for an exception. This would stay the mandatory fight until after his rematch with Wlad. It'll cost him some money though. It's up to his camp.

He would be wise to retire. He has enough money to last him life times

But yet Wilder doesn't have to defend the wbc title against a mandatory, go figure.

He competed at middleweight at the European championships that's crazy

I can't say I love it, but Wlad deserves it. He was a dominant champion for maby years.

I agree, I think wlad has earned the right to try and regain the belts.

I just don't see how he's gonna do it. If he boxes the same it will be the same result. If he goes for it he either gasses and gets knocked out (6-8 rounds) or he gets hurt and reverts to type - in which case the same result again.

Peter Fury definitely got the brains out of him and his brother and he seems like a pretty smart trainer. They will be expecting to see wlad come out firing so will aim to tie him up, frustrate him and maybe even let wlad punch himself out for the first 3-4 rounds.

The only way I see this fight differently is if klitschko was injured in the first fight and he's not letting on, possibly in some part given the flak david haye got.

I will look forward to the rematch and will definitely be watching, best of luck to both fighters.

is that what they're calling a fight where you can count the clean punches on one hand?
No ****. Fury threw a few punches while Wlad threw none. The right guy clearly won, but very little punching happened.

Wlad will get knocked out in the rematch

There is nothing he can do, he's not going to become a inside fighter overnight

Wlad can try harder, but soon as he tastes Furys left and right, he'll shell up again..

All Wlad has is a punchers chance

Who has Wlad beaten that was any good?? EVER

Wlad has fought a collection of boxing bums over the last decade in a farce facing nothings-Look at the record of nothings Wlad has fought it was a joke-sparring partners and no talent bums. Fury's record was worse. There is zero talent at heavy since Lennox retired then Vitali. Nothing is there at Heavy.
