The way Fury used his reach and movement Wlad would have to take some to give some, and that just is not his thing. I know the fight looked awful to casuals, but it was two huge guys playing high speed chess for 12 rds and it was weirdly exciting and uneventful at the same time. - IŽll watch the rematch, but I donŽt think Wlad can change his game enough at this point.

if he's absooute class it should not matter. muhammad ali was a LHW in the olympics. 178 lbs.
he's an accurate puncher, and i love his hair. he's also a left handed HW / CW. if he's really the goods, you throw him to the sharks and see if he can swim. he's almost 30.
my problem with these russian / soviet block amateurs is this:
it's tough to guage them liek you would a normal prospect. usyk is 28 years old. he's in his physical prime.Comment

I'll say it again "do not underestimate Klitschko in a rematch" and that has nothing to do with skills, or improving, it all has to do with Fury and that curse of HW champions sometimes falling into a huge lull of over confidence after pulling off a big upset. Fury gets too ****y and wants to show his chin to everyone or try to walk through Wlad and it could easily get dicey.Comment

i don't think he's goignto fill out much more. he'll fill out some, but not enough for it to be the difference between winning and losing. he's 28. i think they're just getting him used to pro boxing without the added danger of getting knocked out by 240 lb guys.
i think somebody is going to come around who can box for 12 rounds and show these gigantic, immobile HW that being huge isnt' the only way to win a fight. not sure if usyk is the guy, but i do like him.Comment

Talking about the amateurs, Tyson Fury and the soviets - there's actually a kid from Kazakstan by the name of Ivan Dychko. Only 23-24 and stands at about 6'8, 240 lbs lean and has quite a similar style to Tyson Fury. One to look out for I think!Comment
