Haymon fighter in line for IBF Heavyweight title shot

IBF top 10 before Saturday night:

    1. Vyacheslav Glazkov
    2. NOT RATED
    3. Tyson Fury
    4. Charles Martin
    5. Erkan Teper
    6. Steve Cunningham
    7. Artur Szpilka
    8. Lucas Browne
    9. Anthony Joshua

If Fury doesn't fight Glazkov is Charles Martin next in line? He signed with Haymon last July - http://www.boxingscene.com/charles-m...-haymon--93084

I gave up trying to figure out the alphabet organizations years ago. Look at the crazy rankings. Fury is rated 3rd and he is the champ. Wlad is not rated at all. It's just a matter of time until Haymon manages every pro boxer in the world.

Well those rankings are before saturday...

Glazkov will remain no.1. Fury is now the IBF champ, Wlad will fall somewhere in the top 5, probably rank 3.

Unless Breazeale wins, which he shouldn't, he should be next.
        If not...probably Teper

Why isn't that Parker kid ranked? I know he hasn't had many fights but shouldn't he be on there somewhere? IBF rankings are always so weird, even though they are generally the only sanctioning body that doesn't make and break rules as they go.

So ****** that the IBF is trying to enforce the mandatory so quickly knowing Damn well Fury is going to have to rematch Klitschko due to the rematch clause. It's not like Wlad is some unproven bum or unranked opponent.

Nobody forced Fury to agree to a rematch clause. Rematch clauses are VOLUNTARY.

Voluntary defenses do not trump mandatory defenses and the IBF mandatory is long overdue.
It shouldn't be considered voluntary if there was a rematch clause in the contract, which there was. A rematch clause is precisely that, Fury can't refuse it or else face legal ramifications. This is totally different than any other mandatory fight NOT involving a rematch clause in the contract.

Fury didn't have to accept the rematch clause, he could have let it go to purse bids instead.

What do you mean he didn't have to accept? If a rematch clause is in the contract it's in the contract. It would be up to Wlad if he wants to enforce it or not.
