BoxingScene.com has been advised that undefeated heavyweight contender Charles Martin (21-0-1, 19KOs) is the latest fighter to sign on with powerful manager/adviser Al Haymon.

Martin, ranked at #4 by the IBF and #2 by the WBO, is closing in on a shot at heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko. In fact, Martin was under consideration to fight Klitschko earlier this year before a deal with Bryant Jennings was finalized for April 25. Martin appeared on the undercard of that MSG show, securing his eleventh consecutive stoppage win with a one round drubbing of Tom Dallas.

By signing with Haymon, it's a given that Martin will now receive exposure on Haymon's televised series "Premier Boxing Champions" - which currently has agreements with NBC, ESPN/ABC, Bounce TV, Fox Sports 1, CBS/Showtime, and Spike TV.

The new agreement also puts Martin on the list of opponents for Haymon's star heavyweight, WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

Martin is promoted by King Sports Worldwide and managed by Mike Borao.
