He only really started to land punches late in the fight when Fury stopped moving. If Fury boxes and feints for 12 rounds the next time instead of 8-9 that he did this time, it's conceivable that he could win by a wider margin.

Wlad would have to take a lot more risks to win.
A lot of the punches i saw Wlad land at the end of the fight was because Fury kept pulling up his shorts that were falling down.

This is why a rematch needs to be different, he needs to get out of that zone, he doesn't do anything unless his opponents are done, he finally fought someone he wasn't bigger than and he lost. Even fighter that are smaller than him intimidates him, since he lost to Brewster he became a hug and hit boxer, he has all the tool to do more damage to all his opponents, that is the most frustrating thing about Wlad... The MOST frustrating thing.

you're a f#cking 6.5' HW with a knockout punch in either hand. we shouldn't be giving you undue credit for just throwing punches. that's what you're supposed to do!

i'll be compeltely content if wladimir retires, and i never see him fight again. we've gotten use to embarrassing showings for the HW championship of the world, FFS. it is all wrong.

this sport needs to move forward. the clinchko era is done. let's hope fury's next fights are more entertaining.
Is it any coincidence that the sport has suffered this much in the Wlad/Floyd era? The champions of the two most popular divisions in the sport were excruciating to watch. It would be akin to watching two teams shoot 100 FTs each in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Boxing is free again. No offense to these guys, but let's move on to a new era..

Am I the only one who finds this Tweet hilarious?

It's so out of character, sounds like something a 16 year old would write after a bad day at school.

Agreed entirely, it's how I felt about Pacquiao after his fight with Mayweather. Poor, poor effort.

Yes. He beat Klit who was lineal.

I kind of feel bad for Wlad. Not losing in over 11 years.

                  I'm over it!!

people saying wlad shoulda fought more aggressive early on....

if that happened he woulda gassed mad quick and fury woulda probably ko'd him.

I always suffered watching Wlad's fights. Never failed, every time I would think the HW champ is about to fight, get excited, then get zoned out watching those fights.
