I dont care much about this fight, but what are you people seeing? He was looking right at Jabobs with his eyes (Standing in one spot regaining his balance, and his hands were up) .How was his eyes out of it.

He looked like he froze. You're right he was looking at Jacobs the entire time, including the time when the ref was grabbing him and stopping the fight - he was still looking at Jacobs. I don't even think he knew the ref was in front of him for a second.

I thought Quillin was an average fighter due to his performances against Rosado and Lee but I thought Jacobs chin was so bad that an average fighter with decent power like Quillin would beat him, especially since Mora knocked him down with a counter hook. This was very surpirising but well, it was a very good first shot by Jacobs.

Good stoppage. If Jacobs didn't look so gaunt at the weigh in, I would have bet big. In the end £15 returned £51.50. Worth staying up for, that is for sure!

Agreed. Did he actually bounce on his toes there right before the ref jumped in? Thought that's what I saw. You can't do that if you're incapable of fighting. Jacobs was on his way to victory anyhow, but that DOES NOT justify the stoppage.

Yea, we've seen crazier things happen and to wave off every fight because a fighter is dazed really short-changes the fans and fighters. And, I say that as a guy who believes in prioritizing safety.

Happy Jacobs won, but feel that he got robbed of the chance to make a more defining statement.

Yeah my thoughts exactly man.... It looked like the ref panicked to me. I don't like these endings that leave us with "What ifs" ..... we've seen fighters survive much worse and go on to win.
