New heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has told the returning David Haye he would rather vacate one of his titles than fight him.

Fury sits atop the heavyweight division after his stunning win over Wladimir Klitschko in Germany on Saturday and, as such, is the man pretenders will now have to negotiate with and then beat.

This really goes to show that selfish behaviour and messing people around, does have consequences.

Don’t burn bridges because down the line it may well punish you more than it ever helped you in the short term.

Haye has messed people around with injuries, cancellations, delays, negotiations. He deserves what he gets.

Sadly he and Khan often fight less often and not the best fights, ironically enough because of their games and mouth’s.
