Well, he might not be fighter of the decade, but it'll be that much sweeter for the people that back him should he become the man at 147.

Kell Brook was a prospect for how long?
He eventually stepped up after so many years, so many gardeners, taxi drivers and when he fought someone good he passed the test marginally, I'd rather a fighter shows the balls to want a chance to prove himself as soon as he thinks he is ready over the guy wanting a tune-up after another tune-up.

Nobody knows Errol better than himself and his trainers, they must think he is more than ready so why not.

He looks good, but the hype I've heard from some is over the top.

He's nowhere near ready for guys like Brook.

I think he's very good.. and he has no hype at all outside of message boards and twitter despite being on nbc a couple times. He is a fighter that needs an actual promoter.

Did you stutter like Floyd in your head while writing that like "solid compeh compeh compehtheeturrrr"?

If they want to make those fights, they can. It shouldn't come as a surprise if he loses them, and Spence shouldn't be called an overrated hype job if he loses them. It would be really impressive if he beat a top 6 or 7 WW right now. That's a huge jump in competition.

I'm just saying Brook didn't really fight any fringe guys at WW he just went in deep and fought a champion a guy probably that was top 5?

If Errol loses he isn't overrated etc he just got beat that's all but I'm certain he could definitely beat someone like Brook.

He also had a lot more fights before stepping in with Porter, and against the type of competition I think Spence should be fighting for the next couple of fights.

But hey, maybe he proves me wrong.

I think he's solid for where he is now. Like other guys have said, throw him in with guys like Collazo, Lopez, Alexander or even Guerrero (shame he's fighting Garcia for some reason, he had his soft touch)

                    Oh and, next FOTD

Not trying to bash the kid but i just dont see whats so special about him honestly
                      i agree.....
nobody talked about this guy until mayweather said something.
but that guy looks so damn stiff and looks more like a lifter than athlete.
and speaking of potential, hes filled for that frame with muscle, not going up much farther.

ill never be sold on this guy.
just like matthysse provodnikov and shawn porter. i will never be sold on those + spence.

i had high hopes in imam though, hahaha.
