And that's just it: Wlad did not just fail to show up. Fury was giving him a myriad of looks and feints that he clearly hadn't dealt with before. I grant that Wlad is not what he once was - who is, at that age? - but even after his unimpressive showing against basketball star Jennings, about 70% of everybody had him crushing Fury without breaking a sweat.

Put another way, the immense anti-Fury bias colored most predictions. More objective observers could see that Wlad has been fading steadily for a while, and that Fury has been steadily improving on using his physical attributes to work from the outside. A few of us called this: that despite the talk of an electrifying brawl, Fury could and would work from the outside and win a boring fight. In the end, it wasn't so very different from the Chisora and Hammer fights.

Wlad looked shot and could no longer pull the trigger. You know it, I know it. Nice win for Fury, but we all know he wouldn't beat the Wladimir from even his last fight.

Fury took his offense away from him. Wlad. was thoroughly outboxed.

I'm afraid not. Wlad just couldn't pull the trigger. Reflexes are the first to go with age.

What are these "reflexes" he supposedly had? He fought the exact same way he always has.

He never pulls the trigger because he fights like a timid girl

A timid girl beat several of the other best heavies in his era. Most of them by KO. Try again. Good win for Fury but Wlad looked shot to me. It wasn't just Fury's movement. Jennings moved just as much if not more and that was in Wlad's last fight. Wlad is done.

Yeah because his opponents are usually even more timid or gas after getting their heads jabbed off. Wlad never lets the right hand go until he's tired his opponent out with the jab or they've run out of gas themselves. Jennings just came to survive 12 rounds.

Fury completely took away Wlad's jab and therefore his control. So he was too scared to let the right hand go. Fury mocked and taunted him and actually believed he could win which unsettled Wlad.

Wlad let his punches go in the 12th round which kinda disproves your theory that he's done. He finally went for broke when it was desperate after being outclassed for 11 round.

But Wlad would every round against Jennings? How did he suddenly become shot?

Lol!!! When he let his hands go late, the punches were slow, sloppy and his timing and reflexes had nothing to do with them. That's why they never landed clean. Fair enough, Fury was confident but he did nothing special. Wlad was the reason he lost, not so much Fury.

Fury was very much the reason because he took away Wlad's best weapons.

Wlad was lost without his jab and the ability to clinch the **** out of his opponent.
