I was expecting something negligible but that is actually ridiculous. Fury's team has every right to kick up a stink. The whole ring's a health hazard. If he's moving about the ring and his foot sinks into one of those soft patches he could turn his ankle. I hope this is resolved by the end of the night, though I'm not certain it will be. How do you change a whole canvas in a couple of hours?

That is a health and safety risk, and anyone has boxed before knows the difference between boxing on a smooth hard canvas,a bumpy canvas and a canvas like that.
They where dead right to check the ring beforehand, their will be over 40 stone jumping around that ring tonight and the ring should be up to safety standards.

If the fight went ahead,fury fell and hurt his ankle, everyone would say o excuses, and he is pulling a David haye. Would you rather that instead.?

When i first read the headline, i thought it might just be Fury adding a bit more last minute controversy and attention to the fight, but that is ridiculous.

It just looks like they have laid down a foam matress.
