This isn't a situation where one guy is taking PED's or loading his gloves where HE gets the advantage over the other. Both guys would be using the ring.

No one has provided a good reason for why this would benefit Klitshcko.

Because it would be hard for Fury to utilize his footwork. Have you ever bounced around in one of those bouncy houses? It gets tiring as fck. Everyone knows it easier to stay balanced on a hard surface than a soft one.

Because Fury is expected to move more. Every tried to move a lot on a surface that doesn't really support your feet and sinks in, like a mattress or sand or something?? It makes your legs very tired because you have to work harder.

Obviously Klitschko has to move but he's expecting Tyson to move more, so with that ring his legs would tire very quickly. Also Klitschko trains on very soft rings like that, Johnny Nelson mentioned it when he visited his camp recently, before this saga happened today, so he's used to it.

Klitschko should have stood his ground. The original canvas was the same as in the ring in Klitschko's training camp. Now he'll be on a canvas he's not used to. Older knees need a more padded canvas.
