I would vomit half way through typing that but I have dignity
This will be cobarde's 5th "getting ready for middleweight" fight, his 5th in a row at 155 catchweight.
Other fighters do not have this luxury, when they can't make weight anymore they move up. They don't have 5 fights at 1 lb over the weight they can't make.
Strip him & parade him through town so the people can pelt him in garbage. What an embarrassment to the sport.Last edited by ////; 11-26-2015, 08:51 PM.

Just look at 154 right now, there's only one top guy that he could face (Andrade) while the rest are with PBC. If he chooses to remain at MW, then it's undignified to make every opponent fight at a catchweight. I would rather him move back down than go on a MW catchweight campaign.

All I am saying is let's give this fight the justice it deserves, let it truly mean something, and let it be on a even playing field for both parties involved. Both parties are trying to have an advantage going into the fight. If Canelo isn't ready, then vacate the belt, and fight GGG maybe 2 fights from now. I am fine with this.
The JMM fight is a perfect example of one guy fighting at a division that he wasn't ready for, stepping in with the "relatively" big dogs. Though, I think Canelo is a better size for middleweight, than Marquez was for 147, but he isn't quite there yet. Needs to test the waters, before fighting the best 160 pounder out there.
Not every fighter has a warm up fight at that weight before jumping in. Many people step up and just do the business if you are good enough you are big enough.
That fight people want to see now, and it shouldn't take a CW to get it on. If Canelo loses, he loses just like they all did to GGG. If Canelo doesn't disgrace himself and does OK, but thinks if he campaigns at 160 and gets better and better maybe he can rematch GGG and have another go.Last edited by hugh grant; 11-26-2015, 08:52 PM.
