Fighters want to make that Floyd money but failed to realize the hard work he out in early in his career. That and the fact he needed that Oscar fight to catapult him to PPV star. He must have forgot because he didn't give someone the same opportunity.
Now you have all these divas and the sport is heading down the drain
1-Floyd never won a vacant title

2-Floyd never sued for a title

3-Floyd beat more world champions then anyone

4-over half of Floyd fights were title fights

5-the past weekend was a fight between 2 fighters Floyd beat promoted by someone Floyd beat

        please,please save that bullshi1

i blame floyd for setting a bad example.

he was a 2x 154lb champion (vs oscar and cotto) yet made a fellow division champion fight at a catchweight.

first time in history that has happened.

Canelo and Cotto followed his repugnant ways.

Boxing today is not really a sport. UFC is more of a legit sports league than Boxing.

So Canelo is aloud to win the 160lbs title at 155lbs and duck his mandatory (who has unified 2 belts). That is the excepted view from many 'fans'. Shows how ****ed boxing really is.

Replace Canelo with anyone else and there would be an out cry but because he is a 'superstar' he can disrespect the sport and its accepted.

In todays boxing you can be p4p without even fighting anyone worth a damn, it is pretty sad, you don't have to really prove anything anymore. The fighters who actually beat people get criticized while the ones who beat up bottom tier fighters get praised..Then you have fans saying certain fighters"deserve a title" how the hell do you deserve a title? a title is suppose to be EARNED!!!! This is just a random rant from a boxing fan who supports greatness, yet i see that is frowned upon these days
I agree Larry. But you shit on Tim Bradley all the time. So, yea, there's that.

oscar lost to felix sturm who they robbed then fought hopkins at a catchweight.

kinda different from floyd outboxing oscar and cotto to be a 2x 154lb champion then making a fellow 154lb champion fight at a catchweight.

                      first time in history.
