I seriously doubt it. Canelo (and DLH ) will come up with a new stipulation and you'd get Bradley /Cenelo instead.

of course I'd like to see the fight, title or no title. What does that have to do with the debate at hand regarding catchweights in mandatory defenses?

It doesn't make sense for someone to go down in weight to face a guy who just going to outweigh you fight night anyway. At least with Mayweather, he'd still weigh more than Floyd. But Canelo's most likely not going to budge, so I don't know what Golovkin should do.

What comes after Golovkin beats Canelo? He won't be a instant ppv star for it. HBO needs to cut a deal that lets Golovkin fight the Quillin/Jacobs winner and even Lara & Eubank. That buys Alvarez time to develop more and give us a true super fight.
Golovkin will never be a PPV star. A fighter who becomes a PPV star must have great boxing skills, personality, a willingness to fight and the ability to beat the best fighters around. There are very few boxers who have had these combined qualities and become PPV stars.

Golovkin possesses none of these qualities. He has not fought any high quality fighters, has not demonstrated the willingness to fight any high quality fighters and does not have the personality to be a PPV star. He may appear on a few PPV shows if he is fighting an opponent who is worthy of a PPV, just like Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones, but he will always be the b-side of the PPV.

Canelo Alvarez has only appeared in two successful PPV events and he was the b-side to both of them. Alavarez does not have what it takes to become a PPV star and if Alvarez doesn't have it, Golovkin will definitely never be one.

These type of rules only apply when it comes to fighters who don't make a large purse and don't pay large sanctioning fees. With a sanctioning fee of several hundred thousand dollars on the line, the WBC will tell Golovkin to do whatever the hell Alvarez wants.

Thank you for proving something that I already knew, but didn't want to say, which is that you DKSAB!. If you can prove that my comments are wrong, please provide some examples of PPV stars who don't fall in the category I mentioned.

However, If you can't provide legitimate examples, keep you emotion-laden BS to yourself!

I will check again tomorrow to see if you can provide anything other BS opinions!

So there's no excuse to not fight canelo at 155. Can't wait.
