And what??? Lose WAY more $$$$$. I'm actually watching how this unfolds. I think at the end of the day it will be like what I already know. ALL the boxing organizations are corrupt as F'k!

I'd be fine with the 155lbs catch-weight, but Canelo comes into the ring bigger than Golovkin at 160lbs. Because Canelo is 25 years old, his body is able to rehydrate more quickly than someone over 30 years old.

I want this fight to marinate, so does GB & HBO. Rumor is there'll be a new head of HBO announced next week, they should cut a deal that allows Golovkin to fight on the PBC if Haymon offers up more money. Let Golovkin have quality fights with Quillin, Lara, Eubank, Jermell, and Dereveyanchenko while Alvarez builds himself up into a bigger threat.

I could see that. Golovkin has weighed in a 159 and 158 in the past IIRC. It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds.

Added, (we have to wait for official numbers) Canelo may have done 5-8 times of ppv sales as GGG did.

The Canelo fight did over a million buys. Canelo is the new cash cow of boxing. Golovkin's gonna have to bend over if he wants the fight.

"we are ready to fight anyone at 155 pounds" - when bold statements get pussified.

              BORN READY!!!! at 155lb

I don't get how Max Kellerman is always asking Canelo if he'll fight GGG, but he fails to ask the real question in front of his supporters, "would you fight him at 160?"

A fight with Floyd would have been easily over 1 million PPV buys at a higher price.

A fight with Canelo would probably hit 800k PPV buys.

Plus, Canelo's card was successful since it was a POPULAR, and well known fighter Cotto.

Also, this is for the lineal MW title and WBC MW belt. Big difference.

I agree, take Canelo's title and wait for him. Canelo's going to have to come up some time soon. For one thing he has no quality opponents to fight at 155lbs the other is the weight cut will get tougher over time. And when he does finally come up to fight the undisputed champ, it'll be worth alot more money.

Canelo should vacate the tittle if he does not defend it against GGG at 160 pounds. The WBC should mandate this fight without catch weight to make a real MW fight.

Absolute bull****. GGG doesnŽt have to drop one pound, if Canelo wont fight him at 160 the belt will just go to GGG. And then in 2017 Canelo will come to fight GGG at 160 as the challenger, getting far less of the split than heŽd be getting right now. At this point GGG has more options than Canelo, like it or not. Unless of course WBC pull another rabbit out of their arses..
