This match up isn't that bad. Guerrero is past his best but if you look at what he struggled with in his last two fights, Thurman's athleticism/speed/power and Martinez's size and strength, Garcia doesn't offer either of those. Guerrero can outwork Danny in the pocket and he's the better boxer too, I'm picking Danny to win a close decision but it's not a bad fight, even against this version of Guerrero.

Its not a bad fight but its a pointless fight. Why is Al so reluctant to make Garcia/Thurman or Garcia/Porter or Porter/Thurman?

the ghost chin has been suspect as of late he's been dropped and beat up his last few fights it will be fun to watch but see danny winning by tko late rounds

Fight does nothing for me. Guerrero has kind of fallen out of relevance since the Mayweather fight. He got his ass whipped in his last two fights.

And Garcia's career has really gone backwards since beating Lucas. He was red hot right then and now has lost all momentum.

It is not the most meaningful fight at 147 as Garcia hasn't done a lick there and Guerrero struggled with Martinez in his most recent fight.

It should be a fun fight though because Guerrero lets his hands go and has no defense anymore, that should allow Garcia to find a home for his left hook and actually look like a good fighter. I don't know that Garcia is a sure thing to beat Guerrero unless Guerrero is for sure shot. The last time we saw him was Martinez but that was a quick turn around from the Thurman fight and he could have overlooked him or didn't get up for that fight none of those problems exist for this fight so it will be a good gauge of where Guerrero is actually at.

It could be a Bradley-Rios replay or it could be a good action fight. It is worth a look.

I like this fight because of the consequences involved. This is it for "The Ghost." He either wins or retires. This is also a good test for "Swift." Guererro will be about 160-165, and he's a southpaw that wants to trade punches. If Garcia can't handle Guererro, then he should consider moving back to 140 to fight Broner or Imam.

So another soft touch mismatch for Garcia!! No interest in this fight at all!!! Guererro almost got stopped by Aaron "Cab Driver" Martinez for god sake.

Guererro is just a washed up name to try and fool the public. I'm losing a lot of respect for Danny I gained after the Matthyse fight. When is he gonna step up and fight someone live.

The best fight is gonna be at the press conference between Ruben and Angel, that's all you need to know about this fight

guerrero has an iron chin, let's see if garcia's left hook can crack it though. their styles make for a toe to toe action fight, sure to make casuals stay tuned. ratings for this will be high.
