I had it 8-4 canelo... there were alot of close rounds that coulda went 6-6 or even 7-5 for cotto..... but that's where the close rounds come in.Comment

I could see it 7-5 for Canelo if and only if you gave all the close rounds to Cotto but he never won any rounds decisively I gave him 2 rounds 3 rounds max.Comment

I had Cotto winning 1,2,4,7,10,11 and gave him even on the 3rd. Cotto wins 115-114. Very close fight.Comment

I think canelo won the fight,no controversy,i think its just emotion getting the better of cotto right now,the fight just happened on Saturday and it was a big fight and he's upset he lost,he'll realize later he really lost and was just upset when he made these commentsComment

Landed a few hard shots? He out landed cotto in overall punches and outland by power shots and had a higher percent. Matter fact canelo held cotto to 20% connect rate and in the teens in power shots. Lower percents like that are what we are used to seeing from a defensive wizard like mayweather. Cotto ran all night and couldn't hit anything. Canelo slipped and ducked almost everything he threw. And the times he landed weak punches that had no effect. While canelo countered and landed all the biggest shots of the fight and did damage and opened up cottos face. If he didn't run he was going to get kod. He lost and acted like sore loser running out the arena. You cotto fans are delusional lolCanelo only landed about 20 something punches more.... dont act like cotto got whitewashed especially since ya canelo fans where talking mad shiiit about cotto being ko'd and taking knees.

It's not just him saying this you have to lump in the fact that he acted like a h0e and ran out the arena refusing to give a ring interview or show up and fulfill his duties with the post fight press conference. That's why he looks like a chump sore loser. Broner got killed for pulling the same stunt after the Maidana fight. Be a professional and face the music even when the fight don't go your way.Comment

It could have gone either way to me.
No one did anything special to win. The difference probably came down to Canelo controlling the ring and dictating the action.
Neither did anything to really stand out and win the fight clearly.Comment

LOL Maybe he should fight Rubio, Geale, Rosado, Monroe, or maybe Curtis Stevens (canelo's sparring partner lol) those were all good title defense for your god GGG huh? "Monroe is Cuban style doe, hes more known than Lara"GGG can get it at 160 in September while you cry about a voluntary in May
Originally posted by Abel SanchezI thought he (Lemieux) would attack more but Gennady boxed and kept his distance and threw him off. He had the belt to lose, he tried harder, I’m sure he trained hard but he was more composed and less sloppy than in the N’Dam fight. I said Curtis was always the toughest fight. I said it before Curtis was a better puncher but David was a champion.IBO/IBF/WBA middleweight world champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin delivered a different type of performance this past weekend which still generated the same result. Golovkin utilized a power jab and kept Lemiuex at a distance, eventually forcing him to take a knee in the 5th and getting the stoppage in the 8th of their unification bout before a sold out crowd of over 20,000 at New York's Madison Square Garden.
According to Abel Sanchez himself, GGG's official mouthpiece, Curtis Stevens, aka Canelo's sparring partner, has been GGG's toughest fight to date.
Come on. I'm a GGG fan, but his small set of hardcore fans are without a doubt some of the worst IMO.Comment
