I already got an email today from someone I trust who tells me it will do WELL over 750k. Obviously nobody has REAL numbers yet, but the trending numbers, advance buys, and other stuff they analyze tells him over 750k guaranteed.

LOL well a few weeks ago he was everyone's truth source. Until he delivered bad news. Sometimes I think it's best to apply common sense to these things. The truth is always somewhere in between.

it sure could, but its too soon to tell. My guy actually said "over 850k, write it down", but I posted 750k in case he is wrong I dont look quite as bad lol

I would think Canelo/Cotto would do a million buys, 700k seems low.

I hate when boxers avoid answering questions by saying they just want to relax and spend time with their family and/or they'll leave it up to their team. But at the same time they say that they'll fight whoever they put in front of them. How hard is it to say yes I want that to be my next fight or I want a fight or two before I fight him. It doesn't take away from your family time to give an answer. I would even be content if fighters would say that they need a couple more weeks to really think about it and that they maybe are keeping a close eye on an upcoming fight between ..... It's just frustrating when I feel like they already know what they want to do next. I don't even see the point in interviewing a fighter after the fight when they are not going to answer any questions about their future.

That seem reasonable to me. Cotto/Margarito II did 600k and Canelo is a bigger star than Margarito. I know Oscar and RNS predicted 1.5 mil but 700K-900K is a very good number in my opinion.

Canelo has said he won't vacate belt, so this A-side talk is ******. GGG walks away with the belt regardless, and no one will blame GGG if Canelo vacates because he won't defend his title.

But after last night, Canelo has backed himself into a corner.

Canelo will get the purse, but GGG really can just refuse the CW.
