canelo will be a better fighter at 160 since he won't be as drained. he already weighs 175 to ggg's 169 on fight night. he's just draining himselt to catch weights so he has an excuse not to fight ggg.

Canelo will have all the time in the world to "adapt" at 160. He should have not taken the belts of a division in which he isn't "adapted to" in the first place.

how did ggg balk at the ward fight? if you go back a couple years he tried to make it and ward said the time wasn't right. then ward tried to fight ggg at 50-50 split at the end of 2016. that's not a serious offer because ward knew ggg-cotto canelo winner was priority and ggg couldn't commit himself to a ward fight in another division at that time. it was a publicity stunt on ward's end more than anything. i'm sure ward would have fought ggg at the end of 2016 but he knew ggg wouldn't take that fight due to the circumstances so ward wanted to make ggg look bad to low information fans.
