Golovkin is the mandatory for the second time and the belt holder for the second time in a row is saying "I need special conditions to fight him", these aren't lemieux and rosado. These are one a first ballot hall of famer and the other the best known fighter of this next class of boxing. Both need special circumstances but yet he's never faced a real fighter...What do you need? These guys to openly admit he's a legit threat to them? Martinez went for the paper, Cotto went for the paper...and i'm sure Canelo is going to try and go for...the paper. Yet it's the other guys fault? Only in boxing. Ward? Please is that only name you can toss out there? What does that say about the fighter if you need him to fight someone you consider top 3 p4p to prove to you he's not hype..

Well, Canelo for whatever reason doesn't feel comfortable campaigning at 160 just yet.

With the money and drawing power he brings to the table it seems to me like GGG should have no problem tolerating his catch weight demand.

I think canelo will look very bad if he ducks the fight. I don't think people will stand for him vacating the title and just handing it over to GGG it will be seen as a rid**** Bowe moment. imo GGG will probably give a little on the weight but no way should the fight happen below 157 at the lowest.

          Canelo is a goddamn middleweight
