I think he's concerned his power will have no affect at 160. Draining golovkin and making him weaker is his only chance. At 160 ggg would brush off those shots tonight that couldn't even hurt cotto.

Draining is going to bite him in the ass eventually

His power didn't look impressive tonight at 155 lol

I remember the Latino fans and the FIomos who used to make fun of Pacquiao for having catch weights... that was until all of their favorite fighters started having... well... catch weights lol... Now it's "A-side calls the shots" etc...

Canelo is definitely the number 1 lb for lb catch weight champion for sure... but he sure as hell isn't the real Middleweight champion of the world...

He's a strong guy but he only looks like a big puncher against stationary targets. He unloaded on angulo and couldn't get him out of there. It was like target practice and he couldn't drop him. He couldn't even hurt cotto who gets hurt in every fight.

Yeah, it's effed up but apparently the A-sides in boxing can do anything to gain an advantage. Lots of asterisks wins and losses going around in this sport.

I could see that??? And seeing how the WBC accounts for PPV buys they would flip over backwards.

GGG made that word up when he ducked Ward! So blame him.

I guess I was naïve to think that a middleweight would be allowed to fight for the middleweight title at middleweight. Someone needs to step in and enforce some serious changes.

I had a close win for Alvarez too, the judges scorecards seemed biased in favor of Canelo, as if they wanted to make sure Cotto had no chance.

As if the WBC would let 'the traitor' win...
