well I jumped up and down during the end of the post fight interview for absolutely NOTHING!.

Here we go right when I was saying this to my GF, "See i respect that kid now, do you respect him now?", now I have to climb my way out of that hole. Thanks Saul, Thanks a bunch

EDIT: See this is the problem with lineal titles, should we the people just agree to strip such a title when someone holds the lineal title hostage from the other best Middleweight(s) in the division? he will lose the WBC title for this demand but he should also not be considered the true champion anymore by the people and (say any bull**** propaganda to manipulate the masses) media companies, and a certain Boxing magazine

Canelo is definitely the number 1 lb for lb catch weight champion for sure... but he sure as hell isn't the real Middleweight champion of the world...

            My thoughts...

Great action fight! This is what I grew up watching, REAL fighters who come to fight. Put it this way, I will/do not miss Floyd and hopes he stays retired! Fights like this are why I don't like him. Anyway, Cotto is a 1st ballot HOF'mer. He fought his heart out tonight. This is the way you go out right here, by fighting the best. Canelo was too BIG for Cotto. I do believe that Cotto KO's anyone his size. The problem is, no one is his size at 154lbs. Smh. The way he fought tonight, who at 147lbs could beat him??? I am predicting right now that he will announce his retirement. He didn't speak after the fight but my sources tell me that he was disappointed in the scoring and thought it was much closer. He never ducked any fighter and I WILL miss him and Manny when they're gone.

As for Canelo, he did what I expected him to do, except KO Cotto. Cotto's chi was impressive tonight. He came to fight and to win. Both of these guys are legacy fighters and tonight Canelo received his 3 legacy fight. Mayweather, Lara, and now Canelo are all legacy fights. His speed, power, defense, and ability to adjust is why he was able to do what he did. I KNOW he carried Cotto down the stretch. He could've stopped him. No question. His admiration for him is why he didn't. Canelo is now in his physical prime and ready to take over boxing. And for all you idiots who honestly think Bradley moves up and beats him are HATERS! He would get carried out on a stretcher. Canelo is going to eventually fight GGG but not right now. "F" the WBC for their demands against Cotto and now Canelo. 15 days is not enough time to decide a fighter's next move. He is going to vacate the belt and rightfully so. It wouldn't be smart to go into a GGG fight right after a big fight like tonight. Let it clamor and build it properly. Hopefully, all of you so called boxing fans will pipe down and give Canelo the respect he deserves. Become fans while you can because he is the real deal. He is cut from a different cloth and will fight anybody. He respects the sport. Who doesn't like a fighter like that. Again, great fight tonight from both guys.

How the **** can you win the 160lb title at 155lbs??

Seems like the belts and weight classes mean nothing these days.

I remember the Golovtards having no problem when GGG asked for a 164 pound catch weight against Andre Ward. They even made fun of Ward for having to accept that or else get no fight, since he wasn't a draw and since "A-side calls the shots."

So you bet your ass that I'm going to enjoy seeing them get a taste of their own medicine now.

Canelo is a big boy. He has to do better than 155. 157 atleast.

so, he won the title at 155 lbs but now that he is the champion he can't defend it at that weight?

Did GGG have the 168 lb lineal title and Ward was chasing him for it? No, fans want him to move up to fight a fighter in a different weight class. Canelo who now holds the 160 title and ggg is a 160lb fighter both same weight class. Its simple to understand idk how cant see the difference.
