You have to wonder why certain posters have such hatred toward the man.

I honestly have no clue either. I may not find him exciting to watch but I can never say something bad about ward and have nothing but respect to his game. The guy is a just pure class. The kovalev fight is going to happen soon what's the hate for?

We all saw the article where GGG stated he was ready and Ward was not. Ward never disputed it. They both have ammo from different points of time where it was brought up. Both of them at different times wanted it and then did not want it. It has nothing to do with being chicken or whatever. They just could not find even ground they both liked.

The guy was still lying about the Golovkin fight. He can't just say he's not interested because he can no longer make the weight, end of story. I for one will understand.

My biggest problem with stuff like this is black ppl themselves don't like soft spoken black fighters. Black ppl on my block don't care for guys like Mosley and Ward, they like Floyd and Broner. and if Ward was serious he wouldnt have offered a "1 interim fight and then we meet sometime next year at 50-50" offer which would have required GGG to not only lose his position for the cotto-canelo winner, but also likely get stripped of the IBF belt he just won from lemieux
