Golovkin has never fought the type of competition that Ward has fought yet Ward is the one getting the criticism from you for his opponents. Tune up fights and an entire career are not analogous. That makes no sense unless you have an agenda.

and if Ward was serious he wouldnt have offered a "1 interim fight and then we meet sometime next year at 50-50" offer which would have required GGG to not only lose his position for the cotto-canelo winner, but also likely get stripped of the IBF belt he just won from lemieux

Canelo and Cotto have absolutely NO interest in fighting GGG and waiting on them without a guarantee is not a good decision for GGG, and what does the IBF title do to GGG legacywise, P4P statuswise and financialwise? Ward challenged GGG when GGG already had a fight with Lemieux. What the hell was he supposed to do? Cancel the contracted fight with Lemieux and get sued just to fight Ward on Ward's terms? Ward is a crybaby. He does a lot of crying but very little fighting. He hasn't fought anybody worth a damn in years. It's Ward putting off the showdown with Kovalev a full year. I hope Ward actually goes through with fighting Kovalev. Ward is a light heavyweight now and says he will never return to 168. Still he can't keep GGG's name out of his mouth because he is jealous that most fans prefer GGG's exciting KOs to his clinch filled, dull point wins.

everybody knows that neither cotto nor canelo have the stones to face ggg, That being said, if you're ggg you still have to go through the process so you can get the wbc belt. You dont abandon that goal for a "potential" fight with ward, especially at a 50-50 split when ward cant sell 25 tickets

its called UNIFICATION, which has been GGGs stated goal from day 1. And of course neither cotto nor canelo will fight ggg and get their face pushed in, but 15 days from now canelo will be unbuckling that belt and handing it over to ggg, who then only needs the lee-saunders winner to fully unify middleweight. Im sure thats no big deal to you, and in your mind he should abandon all that to go up 8 pounds and split 50-50 with a guy who cant sell out the first 3 rows of a greyhound bus.......

Present tense Golovkin's resume is crap compared to Ward's but you have no problem with it. Yes you have an agenda. Ward fights a tune up and you're outraged .Just come out and say what it is.

Ward fought very good competition in the early days. The last really good fighter he fought was Dawson and that was many years ago. How long does Ward get a free pass for not fighting at all and fighting low quality competition just because he won a tournament many years ago? GGG's last 3 opponents may not have been world beaters but they were better than Ward's opponents in the same time frame. GGG has three fights to every one fight Ward has.
