I think I read somewhere Loma said they offered Rigo 124 without rehydration clause or 126 with rehydration clause

      It's a weird situation.

There are so many different reports and all of them are conflicting. I genuinely have no idea what terms were agreed to and which were rejected.

According to Loma it was about the money at the end

It would apply more to GGG since he is the KO artist with 21 KO wins in a row. Rigo is a hard puncher but he doesn't KO everybody. Rigo has a great win over Donaire when Donaire was looking almost invincible. Sometimes several good wins can be as good as one big win. GGG doesn't have this huge win but he has crushed many good fighters in a very impressive fashion. He should stay at 160 and keep fighting often against the best middleweights he can get to fight him. His popularity will continue to grow. Moving to 168 would make no sense at all. He makes 160 with ease and he is not a big middleweight. He would be fighting in a weight class he doesn't belong in. He has worked hard at 160 and made his reputation at 160. Middleweight is the glamour weight class and 168 isn't very prestigious and has little history. GGG could leave 160 for a fight with a top 168 pounder like Froch and then return to 160 to continue as champion. If Murray defeats Abraham that will make GGG's win over Murray look like a very good win. Rigo just needs to get better fights but maybe that isn't easy with his less than fan friendly style.
