Less of the hype from casuals, yes!
He has more hype from the boxing forum users/dwellers that's a fact.

I can only imagine the uproar if Golovkin asked Ward for a rehydration clause and he'd be moving up 8lbs.

      Rigo too small doe!
      Rigo IS small

GGG hunting for smaller blown up WW like Cotto

Rigo is always facing bigger dudes. GGG vs Cotto is sending Cotto to the hospital, Rigo vs Loma is actually putting Rigo against a highly skilled bigger dude who comes in at nearly 140

There are no money fights left for Rigo at bantam

There are no legacy fights either

GGG still has a pending superfight with Canelo (Cotto is a *****) at MW and there's nothing really enticing for GGG at 168, aside from Ward moving down or a Froch comeback

Challenges and money fights await for Rigo at 126, specially the Loma fight

Rigonduck is the one who needs to move up ASAP

You could make the argument that Golovkin is small compared to Ward.

Rigo doesn't believe he can beat Lomachenko at his best weight, just like Golovkin doesn't believe he can beat Ward at 168.

The only difference is the excuses from the respective fanboys of each fighter.

You could flip that right around and say Ward/Lomachenko don't believe they can beat GGG/Rigo at their best weight. Since I know more about Rigo I can say he has said before Lomachenko even was a pro fighter that he would meet halfway at 124 for a big fight because he admits it himself he is just 5'2, and would be too disadvantaged.

He is willing to go halfway there, but not being met.

GGG is doing the same thing Rigo would do If a smaller guy was masquerading under the guise of being a real MW, fact is Cotto had a WBC super title and was fighting at middleweight.

Rigo is always fighting bigger dudes yet you ignore Lemieux was bigger than Golovkin and their likely is many more examples of this, you're in over your head I know you want to be a Rigo fan and a GGG hater but both circumstances are nearly identical.

But boxers move up in weight to take challenges, not down. That's what great fighters do.

GGG got more hype period! He is a KO artist in a big weight class, Rigo is the opposite of that even after defeating Nonito.

That's a choice not an obligation the way I see it Haggler never moved up is he any less for it? Also depends on the size Rigo is 100% natural at his weight maybe even less. Don't know as much about GGG body type, but IMO just needs to get one of them b*tchass big name people in his weight division to face him get too loud and big to be ignored.

If not then he should do what Rigo he will probably end up doing and go in a cash-out tour eventually at a higher weight class they are both not 20 year olds.

In the meantime they don't wanna get Gamboad. Remember that?

                      Absolutely no comparison.
